Where are you located?

Whole Motion Therapy does not have a brick and mortar. We are a mobile practice and send therapists to your home or provide Telehealth.

What states do you treat in?

Our therapists are currently licensed in VA, TX, and IL. Virtual sessions are offered to all patients. In-person sessions are only offered to our IL patients at this time.

Do I need a referral from my doctor before I see a therapist?

  • In VA you can be treated by a therapist for 30 business days before needing a referral.
  • In TX you can be treated for 10 business days before needing a referral.
  • Illinois allows direct patient access to physical therapy with some provisions. Notably, a PT must notify the patient's primary care doctor that they are receiving treatment without a referral or if the patient is receiving physical therapy according to the primary care doctor's diagnosis. In addition, a PT must refer their patient to a healthcare professional if:
    • There is no measurable or functional improvement after 10 visits or 15 business days.
    • The patient returns for services for the same or similar condition after 30 calendar days following being initially discharged by the physical therapist.
    • The patient's condition is beyond the scope of practice for a PT.

Do you accept Care Credit?

Do you accept insurance?

Hello and thank you for considering my cash-based physical therapy services. I want to highlight a few reasons why choosing a cash-based model might be beneficial for you compared to traditional insurance-based clinics.
Firstly, with a cash-based approach, you have more control over your treatment plan. Instead of being restricted by insurance policies and pre-determined sessions, we can tailor your therapy to meet your specific needs and goals.
Secondly, the direct payment model eliminates the need for complicated billing processes. In insurance-based clinics, there's often a lot of paperwork, and your treatment may be dictated by what the insurance company deems necessary. With my cash-based services, we can focus on what's best for you without those constraints.
Moreover, by choosing a cash-based physical therapist, you are investing directly in your well-being. This model allows for a more personalized and attentive experience, as we can spend more time together during sessions.
I understand that healthcare costs can be a concern, and that's why I provide a superbill for each session. This document contains all the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. While I can't guarantee reimbursement, many of my clients have successfully received partial coverage for my services.
By opting for a cash-based approach, you're making an investment in your health and receiving a level of care that is focused solely on your needs. If you have any questions or concerns about the process or reimbursement, I'm here to assist you every step of the way.
