I had the pleasure of having my shoulder rehabilitated after surgery to repair a labral tear. Marlene was such a blessing to work with. She is very personable, which is how I was able to be so honest when I didn't do my at home exercises. She is very caring and knowledgeable which made me look forward to going to all my appointments. I was eager to use the new techniques she'd come up with for our therapy sessions. My recovery was so quick, one day she had to give me the talk, that we couldn't see each other anymore..because I no longer needed the therapy! And would you believe this made me sad? She's amazing!
For years I have had chronic knee pain and avoided doing anything about it until I had to walk with a cane for balance and pain management. I was referred to Marlene for physical therapy. I had never been so I really did not know what to expect. Marlene was patient, kind and listened. She started me on a regimen seeing her twice a week and home exercises. After about two weeks I noticed a difference in my walk. I no longer hobbled. After a month I was off my cane and after 2 months I was pretty much walking normally, and was even discharged from treatment early. I still do the home exercises when I feel the pain coming on (even though she said keep doing them) and I have no need my cane again. In fact I gave to to the Salvation Army! I highly recommend Marlene as she is caring knowledgeable and is wonderful when it comes to your treatment.

I had an injury last year that has been lingering. Marlene, understood the dynamics of the sport that I compete in and narrowed down the issue. In our first session she increased my range of motion by 5 degrees. She really knows her stuff to put in plain english and I recommend her without hesitation. I am excited to be working with a professional who understands and is compassionate about helping people.
